How we worked with Yardney:

Yardney is a company with many years of experience in the design and fabrication of equipment that utilized a wide variety of filtration media. Sparkling Clear was called upon not only to conduct a field trial, but to also design and propose a system for Yardney’s client that would make their well water suitable for the make up to the cooling towers and boilers.

The requests:

The clients requested a completely automatic system that would provide variable flows from 200 to 1,000 gpm. This was an ideal application for Yardney since its standard design utilized 54-inch-diameter fusion epoxy-lined, carbon steel vessels.

Our solutions:

So, working closely with the client and Yardney, we proposed an automatic system with a rather sophisticated control package utilizing a free chlorine residual monitor, an electronic flow meter and a programmable logic controller (PLC). The system was installed and commissioned, and since start up, the quality of the water being supplied by the Yardney system and the DMI-65 not only meets, but exceeds their expectations.

Sparkling Clear Industries has expanded its NOMAD product offerings with new GuardEx stainless steel air valves and center sections for ¼-, ½-, 1-, 1.5-, and 2-inch metallic AODD pumps. These components can be used as replacement spares or to configure a fully stainless steel, ATEX-compliant NOMAD PWR-FLO™ pump, helping improve durability and performance in demanding industrial environments. The GuardEx™ ADS design allows operators to repair or upgrade existing pumps more easily, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. Industrial Filtration Rental Equipment: Supporting Increased Production on the Houston Ship Channel

Production demands can change quickly, especially in chemical manufacturing. Recently, one of our customers on the Houston Ship Channel reached out with an urgent need for increased liquid filtration capacity. Their facility required a multi-round bag filter housing to support higher production rates. Because we maintain rental equipment at our Clute facility, we were able to respond quickly. The 12-round bag filter housing was loaded onto our truck Friday morning and delivered to their facility that same afternoon, helping them move forward without delay. No extended lead times.
