At Sparkling Clear Industries, supporting our community often means doing what we do best: showing up, pitching in, and making sure everyone is taken care of. On August 15, SCI was proud to sponsor the Cy-Falls Eagles Tailgate Kickoff, bringing together players, parents, families, alumni, and friends to celebrate the start of another football season.
And for the SCI family, this one was especially meaningful.
A Family Connection to the Eagles
Our Accounts Payable Manager, Amber Schoen, has a special reason to be cheering for Cy-Falls this season. Her son, Justice, is beginning his senior year and taking the field as a member of the Eagles football team.
Supporting the tailgate gave us an opportunity not only to support a local school and its football program, but also to celebrate one of our own SCI families during a milestone season.
The timing made the occasion even more special. Just a few days later, on August 21, Amber celebrated an impressive 27 years with Sparkling Clear Industries.
For more than two decades, Amber has been part of the team behind SCI, and we were happy to return some of that support by showing up for a big moment in her family's life.
SCI Fired Up the Green Monster Cook Trailer
Of course, you can't have a proper Texas tailgate without plenty of food. Sparkling Clear Industries provided the food and brought out our cook trailer for the event, with our Project Manager, James, taking charge of the cooking.
The menu included chicken wings, french fries, and onion rings, giving players, families, and supporters plenty to enjoy before the season got underway. Between the cook trailer, SCI truck, tents, and flags, our team was easy to spot, and even easier to find once the food started coming out!
Supporting the Communities Around Us
SCI may spend most of our days helping industrial and commercial customers solve filtration challenges, but the relationships we've built over the years extend well beyond the workplace. Events like the Cy-Falls Tailgate Kickoff give us the chance to support the people who make up our company and the communities they call home.
We're proud to support Justice and the Cy-Falls Eagles as they head into the season, and we're especially excited to cheer him on during his senior year. We're also grateful for employees like Amber and James, who have helped make Sparkling Clear Industries the company it is today.
